Small Chameleon, Big enclosure.

my cham at 3 months was intro'd to a 6' x 3.5' x 2.5' deep nylon mesh cage.
he is loving it and is getting huge. his lights come on auto at 8 am he poops at ten and then he rips around for a while. an auto mister keeps everything quenched, and he'll eat 8-10 crickets and 6 wax worms throughout the day.
one enclosure for the life of a reptile= security, familiarity, and plenty of sweet hiding spots.
8-10 and 6 wax worms throughout the day?! lolol is he getting hudge or fat? lol arent wax worms super fatty?

I understand they are pretty fatty, hes no fatty tho, he rips around his enclosure most of the day, and he is not getting as fat as you would think, a cham that I had years oga never touched a wax worm and he was about tha same size at the same age as hector. I monitor his intake and I think he is actually eating less of them now he's into carrots and crickets mostly now.
I like to give him some other feeders but they are expensive, at my local pet shop I can get silk worms for a buck each, same with butter worms, a buck apiece, any suggests?
