My year old veiled has been sheading for about a month.... its going really slow. He will do one body part at a time. Usually the shead will take 24-36 hours, never this long.

I mist him every day or every other day when I water him. I have been feeding him silkworms and crickets with a couple hornworms too. I put ice on top of the cage two - three times a day to drip down on the plants.

Thanks for the advice-

A.

i asked this awhile back, my jackson likes to do the same thing.
in my case i was assured that i was only being paranoid
your probably fine. however im not an expert so hopefully you get some more responses :)

You mist him every day or every other day?

That does not seem enough to me. Most Chams are misted 3 times a day for at least 2 mins each time. That could be why the shed is taking to long. But if their urates are bright white, your schedule is okay!

Upping the misting does help the shed too or put them in the shower on a plant and have the water bounce off the wall then your cham :)

I don´t think misting is the problem.
It´s recommendet to not mist that much during shed, because if he is hit by any water, this can make the old skin stick to the new one, causing shedding-problems.
Still you should mist more than just once every day or every other day.
Do you have soil and live plants in your cage?
