Slightly Swollen Left Eye

Hello,

My 8 month old female Panther has a slightly swollen left eye. I noticed it yesterday afternoon when I was cleaning her viv. Yesterday she was rubbing it on a branch and trying to rub it with her hind claw. It looks like it has a tiny bit of discoloration and a little watery but other than that ok. I look her over very closely in order to notice anything different. Today in the morning the eye looked the same, just a little slight swelling but it did not progress and get worse. Just stayed the same. I gave her a extra long shower this morning to see if that would help. I have heard that a saline eye drops could help, but she is pretty anti-social and getting drops in her eye could be stressful. I have a her vet in my area and can take her next week, it that is needed. I just dont want to be over reacting. Let me know what you think, thanks

Are we talking left eye as far as ur left or his. Cause his right eye looks slightly enlarged.
Maybe fill in the form from this link. https://www.chameleonforums.com/how-ask-help-66/ and if u can include a better closer picture of the eye and we may be able to help.
Do note we are not a vet alternative.

Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - Panther, female, 8 months
How long has it been in your care? 4 months
Handling - How often do you handle your chameleon? never
Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? What amount? What is the schedule? How are you gut-loading your feeders? Crickets, 8-15 a day, in the morning around 8am feed approx 6, then at 3pm approx 6. I use repashy bug burger and fresh fruits and veggies for water.
Supplements - Calcium w/o D3 everyday. W/ D3 twice and month and herpevite twice a month.
Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? How often and how long to you mist? Do you see your chameleon drinking? I mist 3-4 times daily for 5 minutes. yes I see her drink.
Fecal Description - Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings. I recently moved her into a new, large cage. Her fecal matter before was perfect. In the new cage she has had two bowell movements. The first was large and looked good. the second and most recent (yesterday) was small and had no urate. I dont know what that means.
Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites? No
History - Any previous information about your cham that might be useful to others when trying to help you. She has been healthy since I have had her. I moved her into the new cage and she has seemed a little skittish and tempormental. She opened her mouth at em the other day when I was looking at her eye and she had never done that before.

Cage Info:
Cage Type - LLLreptile 24x24x48 screen cage
Lighting - 25 watt incan for heat and reptisun 5.0 fluorescent for UVB.your daily lighting schedule? lights on at 7am, if it gets hot outside the heat light will go off in early afternoon. Lights go off at 7pm.
Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps? Cage floor is 70-75 depending on ambient temp outside. Basking spot is 82-85. I have a thermometer with temperature probe (Digital Flukers).

Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity? Humidity is between 40-60% naturally with the live plants. When I mist it jumps up to 80 and then goes back down. I measure with the same digital flukers reader that does temperature. I dont do anything to maintain and keep it at these levels.
Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind? Yes, Schefflera Arbicola
Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor? The cage is in the room where the front door is located. She was in a back room and was recently moved into this location. It does get traffic but not too much. We do have small gatherings where people will walk by the cage sparadically but nothing much.
Location - Where are you geographically located? Los Angeles County, CA

I can get a better picture this evening when i go home from work. Yeah I know this is not a vet substitute and I will take her if that is recommended. She has just never had any health problems until this. Could it be related to stress from going into the new cage?

Your husbandry looks great. shes lookin a little hefty has she laid eggs for u yet?
I don't think stress can cauee an eye bulge. They can bulge there eyes in and out. Id see wat it looks like this evening if its still a concern post a better pic anr hopfully someone that has an idea will Cruz by.

She has not laid eggs yet. I put a lay bin in there but nothing yet. She was skinner about a month ago but she has been eating larger crickets. What else can I do?

I will check the eye here with in an hour when i get home, if it looks the same I will get a better picture.

she either has somethin in the eye, or has the beginnings of an eye infection.

To me it looks like a tiny cut more so than an infection. I misted and she went under the water and got several drops in her eye. It looked like she was trying to flush it out but she is not bothering it like she was. She ate and acted completely normal. What should I do next?
