hey my cham went to sleep like 20 minutes before the lights went off
i recently added about a foot in hieghth to the cage so i think he might have just been tired i dont know
 
ya thanx i guess i being a little paraniod but i am going to keep a close eye on him for the next couple of days

It is interesting that you say that, because my panther has started to go to sleep an hour before the lights go off recently. He climbs below some leaves in the middle of the cage (6 feet tall) that is darker and goes to bed. He is in good health so I'm not worried about it. It also seems to coincide with the light outside ( which is odd because he's not really close to the window.)

I had already planned to reduce the number of hours the light was on to simulate the winter photoperiod, but he has apparently beat me to it. I'll be changing to On 8am- Off 6pm. He was on 7am-7pm this summer.

If he is eatting normally and active for the rest of the day, I'm not sure I'd be too worried about it.
