Thank you! He knows when I'm there (I think) and starts changing colors immediately, but doesn't open his eyes until I poke him.
Funny story! Hyperion pretty much doesn't react to other chameleons (except Pan, but that's different.). He didnt even do anything with a lady until I showed him a jacksons chameleon. (who knows why that was!) Anywho, so I went to go pick up his new lady friend and brought him along so the breeder could see him. We set him on one of the unoccupied free ranges and I started to look around. We left the room for a bit to go to another room with a bazillion beautiful chameleons. When we came back, Hyperion had his undies in a bunch and was displaying and puffing up. He halfway fired up and we went to go see what he was upset about as there were no other adult males in the room! He was displaying at a rather small chameleon ornament that was hanging from the ceiling! He was not happy about the 'other man' and didn't stop until we picked him up and moved him! What a silly boy!
