Is it normal for a baby panther to be sleeping on the ground ( are about 2.5-3 monthes old) he has nice grips on the paper towel and seems to be fine just never seen that before so any feed back greatly appreciated..

no i have no heat yet i just have the uv light on during the day and off now he was sitting right under the light now he is climbed down and sleeping on the ground he looks fine just never seen it..i usually never have heat on them untill about 3.5 monthes just have the uv light on ...could something be wrong and if so what is it and or is he just a weirdo ahah..i hope all is fine if anymore feed back please input.. thanks

i picked him up and put him on a branch he is sleeping there now... he looked ok his tail was curled i think i might just have a weird cham here hahah

Normally it is not a usual thing. Like someone mentioned, maybe the heat lamp was on late and he wanted to go to sleep and wanted to find a cool spot to sleep. Just keep a close eye on him and watch how he feeds and drinks and watch for any abnormal behavior.
I have an adult female veiled who instead of sleeping in the branches goes to sleep inside the feeding cup. She has done this nightly for months.

He might have just liked that spot but i have never herd of a cham sleeping on the floor unless there was a problem. You might want a well experenced person to chime in.

only time i have ever seen my cham move to the bottom was when his light was on pass his bed time, he moved to the bottom for darkness....
