Sleeping during the day...?

Hey guys,
I posted a thread last night talking about my chameleon sleeping about an hour before the lights shut off.
I was told an early bedtime is nothing to worry about, and that I should only worry if he started sleeping during the day.
Well.. it's 5:11pm (Illinois), and he has been asleep for a couple hours now. I noticed he has changed locations (not too far apart) a couple times. But other than that, it's been a couple hours.
What could be the reasoning behind this?
Every little bit helps!
Thanks guys!

Is it getting dark outdoors by then? Can he see daylight from his cage? Often our chams will react to even general daylight in the house despite their cage lights. If he's normally active each day, eating, drinking, etc. he's fine. If he starts sleeping more and more during broad day light then I would worry.

I think that as long as he isn't doing it all the time way early in the day, he'll be okay. You know, as long as he's looking healthy and getting food and water and pooping like he's supposed to. Mine will sleep an hour or two before the lights go out if he's had a big day of going outside and being out of his cage, and every once in a great while he will sleep early (I always have a little mini panic about it lol:p) But then he's back to normal again. This is assuming that all your husbandry for him is correct and there are no other problems that you notice.
