Hello every one i have Recently got my first chameleon a baby yehmen around 13 weeks old.i am just worrying as spends most of time sleeping under dasking spot most of day i have seen him/her drinking and eating but not much.the viv is 3ft tall got a 40w red basking bulb and temps of viv are 70f
UV light is 5.0 Compact. i have a live dragon tree in te viv as well.

Sleeping during the day is not a good sign. They should not sleep at all during the day, only at night. What is you basking temp under the spot where he sits sleeping? There is a chance that he had an underlying illness such as parasites when you got him and he is now starting to show the ill effects of them. This is just a possibility, but lack of appetite and lethargy are a few of the symptoms. Runny poops are also a sign. Has he pooped lately?

hiya thanks for the help the spot is around 25 /30°C. i have found 1 poo and it looks a bit runny.he has been walking round the floor of the viv most of day and chilling in the lower end of the viv

best is take the poo(if it has not dried out already) and put in on a wet paper towel inside a zip loc bag and put it in the fridge. I would have your vet run a fecal test on it. Have them do a fecal float. I mean atleast you could rule that out then, and move onto trying to figure out what else is wrong. If he poops again I would get that sample. The fresher the poop the better. Sometimes lights will bother their eyes also. You could try changing out the bulbs you are using. Most of us use the tube style lights, but many also use the compacts with no problems. It is just another possibility. Also, I am not sure what a dragon tree is or if it is toxic if eaten by chameleons. Veilds will eat plants. Have you noticed any of the leaves chomped on?
