Sleep time colors

So when my little guy falls asleep he changes color. Usually in the day he is basically green and yeal only, but when he falls asleep his whole body is very very yellow with a white or clear head. Are those his "natural" colors?

So my question is, does a chameleons natural colors become visible when they fall asleep? Just something that's been on my mind. If anyone knows the answer feel free to let me know.

Yeah when they sleep they show their natural color because they are relaxed and stress free so thats their fabric mode color.
