You would probably most likely kill them. I don't know why you would even want to do that.

I can't imagine a more terrifying thing to do to your cham! Chams in the wild probably fall out of large trees sometimes but I really doubt they enjoy it. They are not birds and the sky is not their natural place. Terrible idea.

That's the basic problem here...YOU (a human who has been trained to do something basic survival instinct would be screaming not to do) assumed that some completely different animal would do the same. YOU are in the position of being able to force the cham, dog, cat, whatever to go along for a frightening ride for no purpose.
I don't really care if the jump is safe or not, the point is, you are not able to explain the sport or know what your animal thinks about falling through the air for no good reason.
