Hello my cham is bout a year old and he's super skinny is there anything I can feed him to get him bigger I feed just him worms. He don't like crekits anymore. BTW his attitude is so pissy all the time I haven't even held him by once when he was little I transport him by hanger lol is there any suggestions on taming him nice

If he's eating worms and still skinny I highly recommend a fecal to check for parasites. Parasites can keep them from putting on weight. My guys all gain weight when they eat worms. There's a blog on here by one of our senior members. I'll see if I can find it for you.

Ok thanks. There are rainbow mealworms. Can I feed him vegetables or fruits if so what kind. I mean if he'll even eat it he's picky

Meal worms aren't the best feeder for chameleons. Have you tried other worms such as super worms, silkworms, hornworms, butterworms or Phoenix worms?

My veileds like all kinds of greens like collards, turnip, mustard and kale. They also like fruits cut in to small slivers so they want choke. Try strawberry, banana, Apple, watermelon, canalope, blueberries and raspberries.

I also bought him a new 100 gal cage from Josh's frogs we put it together and it's not what we expected. it's a zip screen like fabric not like a regular screened cage you buy.and we can't hang his lights on top cus itl burn thru but I don't think the lights effecting him much he's always hanging close by it or Ill catch him (when he's out roaming he'll go under the light that could cause him to burn but think God I catch him before it does. Should I get another fixture with just a heating bulb or it's that to much

Yes I have hornworm, I cut off there head before I feed him they just scare me to feed him those lol. butterworms no.Phoenix worms are to small for him he's a fatty lol I feed them to my little jackson cham and hornworms no matter how small I cut them he chokes they always grow huge
