Skin Temp

What is the acceptable skin temp range (i.e. taken with a infrared thermometer) for an adult panther basking?

TY :)

Was curious about this myself. I took the skin temp of all my diurnal reptiles over the course of 2 months and they were ALWAYS between 80-83.

This was for panther and veileds, basilisks, and day geckos.

It was the hard average every day, of course it fluctuated depending on misting and time of day when they would crawl off somewhere before the lights go out for bed.

Your cham's temp will be close to the temp in it's spot for the moment. Since they are cold blooded it makes sense that they don't really have a body temp. ;)
