Welcome! Hopefully you'll find the answers you need here.

I agree it looks like a burn. You need to figure out how it happened and make sure it can't happen again. Can you post a picture of your enclosure? Maybe someone here can see a problem you missed.

Does a fungal infection cause the bright yellow ring around the damage? I don't have that sort of experience so need to rely on you for that information.

It makes sense to me as a burn but if it's also a common result of fungal infections I need to put that into my information well.

Strange place for a burn, stomach, and isolated/small as it is.

I want to know if fungal infections produce a particular shape, ei: circle.
Or is it "willy nilly"?

I thought those were "spines" like seen on the back. I didn't, for a minute, think that was on the belly.

My experience is limited, but it looks like a belly to me.
Thats not the strange thing, as it could have been on the screen.
What I think is strange is the small size of the "spot".
Again, I have never dealt with a burn, but most I see on here are larger in area.
I would think it would be larger too, if the animal was close enough to be burned.
That, or a teeny tiny bulb.

The lamp was to close to the side at the time. She must have pushed on to it that's the only heat it's been away since no problem. But the spines are on the belly and the white is travelling with them looks to be another under her left back leg appearing is not due to a burn this is brown. Light brown. Think the first one caused an infection that's traveling is e45 ok to use I was told by a vet in past to use it on my snake for a burn cos it dont really have anything in medically that will harm animals. Thx for the replays.

Can you post a photo of the mark on its leg too please? And one that is further away from the mark so I can see more of the skin around the mark?

Some fungal infections do make a ring-like appearance...but the skin in the center might be darker. At least one chameleon one (very bad one) I know of also produces almost blister-like lesions too.

Will nilly. A lot of them start off more circular but they don't have to. And once they start spreading they can be amorphous.

To the OP: no light bulbs should be on the side of the cage, they should all be on the top (to prevent burns like this). It's hard to read your last post without punctuation but it sounds like this has spread? Even if the first one was an infection from a burn, a second spot will not appear elsewhere from a local infection. An infection needs the skin to be damaged (like by a burn) to take effect. If there are multiple spots that did not appear at the same time then fungal jumps to the top of my list. You should have this looked at by a vet. Fungal can spread quickly and be disastrous.
