Skiddish!!! help

hows it goin yall, ive had my female veiled for 2 months now and she's 41/2 months old. she is sooooooo skiddish, i cant even come within 20ft of the cage without here running and hiding. i chalked it up to having to get used to me but its been 2 months and no change, she just runs and hides. i havent seen your eat or drink in over a month(she looks healthy, good urates, food gone.), so i know she eating and drinking good, just that she's a closet eater,drinker,chiller, everything.

any help would be great, my male is awesome and can care less about my presence. she just doesnt want anything to do with me. how can i get her to warm up to me? or do you think she will be this way forever? she wont be able to completely hide forever so will it just stress her out if she cant completely hide from me?

she doesnt turn colors or anything, she just runs and hides, if i try to approach her she gives me the 10th degree.
has gotten so bad i bought a set of binoculars so i can watch her from across the house, jeeeeze!!!

Typical female. As long as all else is well I would not worry. Give her a well planted home so she can hide happily!

bummer, forgot to mention, she dont mind me once she has been picked up. if i can pick her up.

i am no expert and have not owned veileds (aparantly they are rather mean sometimes) but i used food to induce my Chams to "connect" with me. i have hand fed silkworms and used a white delicup to feed crickets and my chams come right over to it

veileds are the more aggressive species of the popular chameleons. This is typical behavior for them.
