The 16x16x30 will have more vertical room than a 20 gallon aquarium, which would be better for a chameleon.

I wanted to make sure where you were going with this before I answered so I snooped your most recent posts. Basically if you are considering the 16x16x30 from LLL as an upgrade to your current glass terrarium then this is fine (I'm also assuming that this is better than what she is currently in). That being said, and I know you're working with a budget here, but bigger is almost always better. 18x18x36 would honestly be even better, and even better than that would be 24x24x48. If budget is an issue you could always look into building an enclosure.
