I am by no means a jacksons expert, but 4 1/2 inches including tail cant be very old hehe

Those are full grown measurments. You would have to measure your chameleon to get an aproxamation of age.

Without seeing it, its hard to say, as they can grow differently.
If someone has looked at them enough, there are other signs such as color, pattern, horn growth, and really the over all look of the animal, that can give age away, more accurately than a length.
They can stretch, and shrink too ;/ making getting an acurate measurement near impossible.

Quite a difference in color. I prefer Merumontana. Very long horns (compared to body size) yellow head, blue green eyes, green blue body. Stunning.
