Size comparisons of various small chameleon hatchlings

For those interested in working with/breeding smaller species, here are some size comparison photos. Not the best photographer but, perhaps this will give a sense of scale. First is a newly hatched veiled, then 1 week old Trioceros Ellioti, 1 week old Calumma Linotum, just hatched furcifer Lateralis, 1 month old calumma Roaloko, 2 month old brookesia thieli. You can see how tiny these guys are, the veiled is by far the longest! The t. Ellioti are the most squirmy and active (hard to photograph) as babies!

Next up, pigmies on dimes.

But you get a gold star for even getting them to stay still long enough to get a pic lol.
 
You’re killing me! 🤗 🥰 :love: 💗Baby chams are adorable anyhow, but these tiny ones are next level! I especially love the Calumma Linotum with that little snoot. Is that a tiny horn or a protruding snoot?
