Hello everyone. My cham likes to sit on the top part of her 36 inch enclosure and I'm not 100% sure why. she sits below the UVB lamp and the heat is right next to it. I suspect it might be because she likes the feeling of the heat. I can't remember the watt ceramic bulb i got but does anyone have recommendations on the wattage i should get

What are the temps you have for her at basking? When you get a chance take a pic of your whole cage. She may need more places to bask as well. As far as bulb wattage it depends on how far away from it she is and if you have the heat lamp lifted? If you are using like the zoo med ceramic bulb that does not produce light this might explain why she is going for the heat from her Uvb light. So think of it this way. When it is sunny you lean into the light to feel the warmth. When there are clouds you don't... So she is leaning into the light for her heat. Look at this link https://www.chameleonforums.com/care/ and this one https://www.chameleonforums.com/care/caresheets/veiled/ LOTS of info that really helps in the beginning to get you on the right track.
