Simple fix to loud reptifogger

I had just purchased a reptifogger by Zoo Med roughly two weeks ago. It has worked great especially in conjunction with the hygrotherm, but i just noticed recently that it started making a louder than normal noise when it was running. My first thought was to return it, but where is the fun in that.

Here is the reptifogger in all its cheaply made glory.

Its quite simple to take apart, just remove the four screws on the bottom.

Lets take a moment to admire the expert craftsmanship.

After gazing upon its beauty for a while, i noticed the fan was crooked.

Turns out, the Zoo Med technical team thought a simple piece of sticky tap was all the fan needed to stay secure. Say no to sticky tape kids.

Just a dab of super glue on the top left corner did the trick. Do you think i should apply for a job at Zoo Med?

To finish it off, just hold the fan against the plastic very lightly

All in all, the noise i heard was just the fan rattling around. Thanks to my excellent knowledge of stuff that makes things stick together, I now have a "quieter" fogger. I probably should put fogger in quotation marks too. Thanks for visiting
