Simba's enclosure revamp

Decided it was time to ditch the old plants (As I'm sick of soldier flies!!)

Got Simba a nice new Ficus, which is bigger than the last one and so provides more cover for him. Also got a couple of Hibiscus plants, just about ready to flower too!!! One in the enclosure and one in the sun, so I can swap them every weekend so they get plenty UV.

Also took the liberty of getting another vine to try and make use of some unused space in his enclosure.

So, here's a few pics taken from different angles of his revamped pad

Simba, as you can imagine was not in the least bit impressed with the change around!!!

However!!! He soon realised, it's really rather cosy in there.......

where did you find a ficus at? i know ive said it before but i havent seen a single ficus in my area (or the 2 nearest cities/towns) be it lowes, homedepot, nurseries (sp?) notta single one. maybe next year...

looks good! i like the open area.. seems cozy. and the way the vine holds the bowl.

heartben - Kat is in the UK! It could be that Ficus are 'out of season' in America? I know we can only get Hibiscus here in the UK during the summer months.

Kat! Simba is looking gorgeous! I love how blue he is, bless him! He's all grown up, and so fast too! They hate change don't they?! They can sulk for days when you give them a new branch! Such ungrateful critters, lol!
