Sim containers for incubation

Has anyone used the sim containers? www.squamataconcepts.com/
If so does it work for chameleon eggs? please let me know if it's even worth trying

First I want to say thank you for all your comments and I want to thank Bob for posting the pics...

Now to answer some questions...

The triangular egg bars are fully adjustable for just about any egg size and can be fully removed if you have species that lay clumped clutches... We designed the bars in a concaved triangular shape so the egg is "cupped"... This design also allows the egg to swell without being restricted...

The grid sits above the substrate, not on it... The container has a fill line... You do not have to fill it to the fill line... We put the line there so our customers will not over-fill the container...

So far the species that have hatch on the S.I.M. container have been.....

Fattail Geckos
Blackhead Monitors
Yellow Ackies
Bearded Dragons

I didnt see him mention anything about chameleons :/
He also mention about 50 crested geko eggs could fit i have no clue how that
compares to chameleon eggs but it might give some who does know an idea LOL!

Its a REALLY long thread so I didnt read it all but from what people say its a pretty niffty

what was kinda new and cool that caught my eye was that you dont have to use substrate, you can just use water in the sim tray. no more mixing to dry or to wet vermic. and you can just look into the sim and see if there is water and if so then you have always the right humidity

I'd like for someone with a sensitive scale to weigh an egg immediately after hatching and directly before hatching to see if they change weight due to moisture absorption. Just a thought. If that is the case this product might be like a dehydrator rack for cham eggs. Someones bound to have used one or seen it used. I still like my deli cups with holes in em and vermiculite.

And all of them like it.
Just they havent used it with chameleon eggs :/

It would be neat. Alot of possibilities. You could fill it to its line with water and get a 11.99 heat pad and stick to the bottom and have a mini incubator. If you got the right temps. My first incubator was a 6$ styrofoam cooler with a aquarium heater in the water below that I made and it worked fine. Im not sure I like the price of it though. 24.99 and 8.00 for shipping.
