Silkworms

Just curious, who does everyone buy their silkworms from? Im trying to find a new source closer to Michigan.

I get all my feeders from mulberry farms. They are great to work with.

i to go and get them from mulberryfarms they are great and carry pretty much all the feeders you will need.

great lakes hornworm has supers and HWs, and theyre in michigan

LOL, great lakes should have gave it away. But i havnt even thought about it.

I'm in northeast indiana and was wondering the same thing, shipping next day cross-country is expensive. There is a place in Muncie, IN, but he only has crickets, mealworms, supers and waxworms.

Yeah it is tough getting good cheap worms. Every time i get silkies i spend 11 to 12 something. 6$ of that is shipping. And that is the 3 day, witch is never three day more like 4 to 5 to get way up here. Wish i could get our local pet store to breed them or to at least have them in stock. What other types of reptiles will eat silk worms?

All mine do...geckos, beardies, frilled, collard lizard....pretty much any that eat bugs and provided the appropriate size silk is available for them.
