Silkworms from UK shipped to Ireland

Where can I get silkworm in the UK? I live in Ireland so I thought UK is the best option I have to get some over here..Any help or suggestion is much appreciated

They are very hard to find over here. I had most success with buying eggs and hatching them to raise my own. The Silkworms Store do a 'bred to order' scheme, but I think there is a waiting list for that too. Butterworms (Lizard Lunch) also sell them occasionally.

Looks ok, but you will need to buy Mulberry chow in the powdered form to mix your own as they eat a LOT when they get bigger, as I am finding out, lol! I have never ordered from that site, but have heard of it, just not used them myself. Here's a couple more links for you:

One more thing, why do you need a petri dish for?

I would imagine the hardest part is finding stock. Then you will need to pay for some kind of next day delivery if possible from the UK. I'm not sure if Silks last very well in transit over periods longer than this. Good luck anyway!

Cheers Bernie! They seem to be out of stock most of the time but I ordered some 5 minutes ago from Lizard lunch. I think they'll be here in 2 days!
