Silkworms from eggs

I am interested in trying to raise silkworms from eggs. What do I need to be able to do this? My veild absolutely loves them. I figure raising them from eggs would be alot less expensive if I could figure out how to do it.

I did it myself, I found it quite easy. Little time consuming making sure they have the food cause they can't search it out, but my little guys are doing great and my baby ambilobes & my veiled love them!

How do you make silkworm chow? I went to the link above and it had directions with the "powder". I recently bought worm bedding/gutload from cricketfood.com. Is this what they mean by powder or do I need something special? Any home recipes out there?
