Silkworm moth care?

i had a batch of silkworms a couple weeks back that where fed off, one of them cacooned inside the critter keeper without my knowledge apparently, I went to clean up the container and found the little guy/gal hanging out to my amazement, I was blown away lol idk why I thought it would be a lot harder to get moths from the silkies, I offered it to my Cham but he just ate 2 hornworms so he just ignored it
Does it need to be cared for? If so how..

There's nothing you can really do for silkworm moths to care for them sadly and prolong their lifespan. They have no mouth parts and really are just made for mating XD but they are the most adorable creatures and can't fly at all. Enjoy your new little house guest for as long as he/she is around ^^ But this may give you some idea into raising your own silkworms. They are the easiest soft-bodied worms to breed and raise and if you've raised them from eggs already you'd be well prepared

Keep it warm, they don't eat and I've only seen 2 instances in which they've attempted to drink water and I doubt they were very successful because they're mouths are so tiny. Ironicly, the two I watched doing what appeared to be drinking water lived 7 days and 9 days longer than the rest that hatched that day so maybe they did, but you only have one so you might as well feed it the second your chameleon wants it, after 7 days they start breaking down and die slowly, sometimes it looks as if they literally have a self destruct mechanism that releases acid to make thier bodies deteriorate.
