Silkworm eggs - hatched in the fridge!

 I checked my silkworm eggs today as I was going to take just a few out at a little under 3 weeks diapause. To my amazement, I found 3 tiny silkworm babies in the tub!!! Obviously these 3 wanted to prove that the eggs are indeed fertile! They are very tiny and look like they only hatched in the last day or so. Anyone else seen this? I have now moved the eggs to a cooler section of the fridge rather than in a door compartment!

congrats!

Question for you.

my silkies keep dying!
i have no idea why,

they are about an inch or so long, they have constant food, its not too cold or hot.
thye are in a drawer, but air can get in, and they are on a plastic mesh thing so poop can fall though.

they have toilet paper tubes to spin if needed.. i dunno what sgoin on!
any suggestiosn>

the further back you can put them the better. the door is not the best place for them because when ever its open its in warmer air, even if it is for just a few seconds.
