Silent crickets??

Does anybody know where I could purchase silent crickets in the US? If not, does anyone have any ideas on how to keep them from chirping? They're already in the garage (which is finished so it's pretty warm) but my husband can still hear them LOL

Feed off the males first is about the only way really or you can look into roaches they are quit minus all their scurrying feet haha

How do I tell the males and females apart?

females have an egg depositer males donot if they have the long skinny thing commin out there but thats a female

I got fed up with chirping males, so I now dump my crickets into a bin and pull out all the mature males (takes about a half hour per 100 crickets) and feed them the same day they come in. If you had more than 1 chameleon I don't think that would work for you though.

Order 3/4" - they're not adults so they don't have wings and are silent for several weeks.
