HI Guys,

Just wondering if anyone has experienced their Brevs showing certain signs before laying a clutch of eggs?

I have what i think is a gravid female and keep expecting her to lay but as of yet - no luck.

this evening tho she drank a hell of a lot of water, more than she has since i got her. she just kept on drinking from the end of my spray can, do you htink this may be a sign that some eggs may be on the way?
:)

Haven't really paid attention ... I usually only find out that there were eggs when I find babies.;)

Mine became very, very rotund and started digging. She tried several places and dug for several days; did not lay on the first day. I observed her mating on the day I got her; the digging began 35 days afterwards. She was wild-caught, and it is possible she had mated before I received her. Saw no change in behavior otherwise.

No, i cant say i noticed any changes in behavior

Do you want to incubate the eggs somewhere else or are you just excited about them?

Hell yeah, im excited!!!!

Kev the dominant male is loving all the ladies! if todays events were successful then im guessing that another clutch of eggs will be laid around mid april! Poor Sheila was not impressed with him this morning and thats all im gonna say! Veronica has kept well out of Kev's way! I fear she is next on his list!!!

And of course Monica is the heavily gravid female! so she is waiting to pop soon I hope! I dont mind leaving the eggs in the tank if they are going to be ok, but id like to know when they are due with her, so i know roughly when the eggs will hatch (fingers Crossed!):)
