Hey Good job, Thanks for the pic's. Your probubly right about the other light and Eye Issues. The Cham is on the thin side but his bones and joints look real good. Check his poop structure for the white (hopefully) Part and the dark part not mushy like infested with parasites. If all that checks out Maybe just getting him on a good varied insect diet and dustings, will fatten him up in no time! Key is water consumption, If he seems to not drink much, you can inject water into the feeders abdomen and then feed to Cham to help get him back on tract with water consumption. His eyes being closed and sunken at times could mean pain, such as constipation, which good water intake could help that out. Lets have some one chime in with a good Diet schedual to get this guy back to speed?

I think that's his pelvic bone.
He is a bit under weight.

Good Eye Syn. I suspect paracites by his thin structure also. I just hate to break it to the owner, as THAT is serious to Cham longevity! And Vet visits. I did notice the same line on opposite side of the Chams tail in second pic down. Lets pray there are not paracites involved here. This must be treated if so. Or the Cham wont be around long. Looking more deeply into the Chams origin may tell more info on the possibility of infestation.

The white is a little runny, but the dark is solid. I don't believe he is constipated as I've been seeing him go to the bathroom.

Well All may be good with this guy then, may need as I say fattened up! His colors are good as you said. Try the Varied insect diet, Flys, crickets, hornworms, silkworms, roaches, Butterworms and such! good luck

He looks thin and dehydrated, and I would get a digital thermometer and keep your highest temps at 85.

Well so far his eyes have been open since I woke up. He does blink a bit, but I saw him drink and his appetite has returned. I guess the bath plus getting rid of that powersun helped. Does anyone know how often you should/can give them baths?

sorry if someone has already posted this, but from what i can tell about your cham looking at the pics of it w/ its eyes closed and the fact that your using a 100w Powersun, i'd venture to guess that your cham is suffering from a classic case of karato-conjunctivitus, and im willing to bet if you remove that light the condition will fix itself in about two weeks or less depending on how well you take care of him/her. . .i could be wrong but im pretty sure

Update

He is doing awesome now. Eyes are open all the time. He is still a little thin but now that he is eating 5x as many crickets as when he had his eye problems I think he'll gain fairly quickly. Thanks to all those who gave their advice.

Do you offer more than just crickets? Silk worms and roaches would put some meet on his bones.

I've tried Wax and roaches and he didn't want anything to do with either of those.
