I have a male veiled chameleon, approx. 1.5 yrs old. I have always misted his plants as a means of his getting water to drink. I have a reptile store near me, and the owner told me he believes he is dehydrated since he was eating well until 2 days ago. I thought he was dead as he was just laying in is plant (something he had never done before). I told my boyfriend to take him out, I just couldn't do it and he moved! Over night again I thought he was dead and I tried to remove him from the cage, and he moved again. I have never handled Pablo since he didn't like that, but he is so sick he let me. l placed him near a heat source and I have ice cubes dripping so he can get water. He actually looks a little better, but my questions is how do I make him drink?? I don't want him to die, but it so hard watching him right now. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Should I spray him with warm water???
