hello everybody, im new to the forums and a new chameleon owner. But that chameleon he is not doing so good. so i met this guy that was selling me my rain (the chameleon) and when i went to pick him up he had done an awful job caring for him. not only did this man thonk that uvb uva could pentratw through windows, he also thought that his house room temperature was warm enough. and last but not least he and his family were heavy duty smokers, having rain in the main room in all of this trechory. so when i saw him i could not leave him there.
Now a month and a half later he is improving greatly, i just want to know if anyone has any extra advice for us?
ill give you some more details.
because of the lighting issue he had a weak bone structure, but thankfully it wasnt too bad. He is two years old and
and sometime in the past he suffered two fractures, one rib and a leg.
and he was extremely underweight, but yet again thankfully his calcium levels were just a little under average.
He weighed in when i first got him at 109 g now ive got him up to 135
i want to get hin to atleast 150 g
ive got him a verity wide diet of crickets meal worms mostly wax worms roaches and flies
i have also been giving him 4 ml of emerald every other day but i was instructed tp do it everyday by my herp vet.
