Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - Ambilobe panther chameleon. 4.5 months old. I've had him about a month and a half.
Handling - Only once. I took him out for some sun yesterday.
Feeding - He usually eats around 35 to 40 1/2 inch crickets everyday, offered to him shortly after the lights come on.
Supplements - Rep-Cal Calcium with D3 every other day, Rep-Cal
Multivitamins twice a week.
Watering - I have a misting system that sprays every 3 hours for 30 seconds. I also occasionally use a spray bottle to make sure he's drinking.
Fecal Description - Slimy and dark brown with a white tip. He's never been tested for parasites.
History - He has a normal routine, except for yesterday, when I took him outside for a half hour. Also, I found out that my father went behind my back the other day and used some bug killing spray to get rid of some ants that were getting close to his cage.
Cage Info:
Cage Type - 18X18X24 aluminum screen cage.
Lighting - Ceramic heater with a 60W blue bulb placed on top of the cage, and the Reptisun 5.0 bulb placed on top as well. Lights come on at 8 a.m. and turn off at 8 p.m.
Temperature - 75F at bottom and around 90F at top. Temperatures stay above 70F at night. Using a digital thermometer placed inside the cage for measuring.
Humidity - Humidity stays around 30, but gets up to 40 and 45 when I mist.
Plants - Fake branches and foliage placed at different heights in the cage.
Placement - There's not much room in the house, so he stays in my room, which is a really high traffic area at night. His cage is on a wooden stand roughly two feet off the ground.
Location - Manchester TN, USA.
Current Problem - The little coughing that he did several times in a row. First time that I've ever seen it. He's not eating as fast as normal either.
