Current Problem - The current problem you are concerned about.

His eyes seem to be infected and he will not keep them open. He walks around the cage with his eyes closed and I am worried he will soon not be able to find food. Perhaps the misting system sprayed him in the face and hurt his eyes? Or maybe he has an eye infection? I have been using warm water with Q-tips to help him clean out his eyes and he seems to like that. I also see him scratching his eye up against the fake vines.

Thanks so much!

Same problem

My Nosy Be is having the same exact issue. I have read you can take care of it by doing what you are doing and cleaning the areas around his eyes with water. If it is continuous, then we both are on the way to the vet it seems. I'll keep you posted.
