Is it normal for a veild Cham not to eat when someone is around he is 6 to 9 months old he eats just when no one around

I am not familiar with chameleons not eating in front of people. I atleast have never had that problem. Drinking water is another story, where many chams will not drink when anyone is watching. As long as he is eating one way or another, I guess I wouldn't worry about it.

how long have you had him? It may take a while to get comfortable with his surroundings. Try offering something more exciting like a cabbage moth if you can get one. They cant resist the fluttering across the top of the cage and will usually go for it right away. If there is a food item that they like try offering that on your finger. My panthers will always hand feed with a silkworm. Be patient and he will come around.
