Shy Chameleon

Hi everyone! It has been 42 days (6weeks) since i got my baby veiled chameleon.(I think he is like 3-4 months old now)But he is still so shy
There is not even a single change between first day and today.(im not talking about size)
As i mentioned on this thread: www.chameleonforums.com/shy-little-boy-103889/ I can't even look at him. He runs runs and runs away from me ,he scares to much. I think i have seen him for just 5 mins at all. I think this is not normal.
Will he stay like this forever? or is there still a chance? I will be very happy if someone help this little guy and me Should I leave him alone or stay around him so he can understand I don't cause any damage for him? (Maybe dumb question )
Also i managed to take his pictures while he is sleeping.(I can't take his photos while he is awake lol. )

Hello, Some good advice ^^^^^ on taming. Just remember to always move real slow and don't stare at him. You can put a feeder every now and then slowly on the screen wall in the open, then back way up and let him go for it. He'll learn your putting the treats there.

when i got my veiled, i moved a recliner in front of the cage and i would sit for hours working on my laptop. i feel this made me a more normal thing for minion
to see. like the furniture around his cage. i would look up from time to time and wave to him. then after a couple weeks i would sit there with his cage door open.
at this point i still had not even attempted to handle him, only reaching in to feed or clean and doing that as slowly as possible.
well another couple weeks pass and one day he walks down to the front of the cage on a vine and sat looking at me. i resisted the urge to do anything, but from that point on i kept a treat near when i sat in that spot. i fed him when he came down.
so 2 more weeks and he was very trusting, i think because i let him progress on his terms. i swear now when i am on the couch 20 feet away and look up and wave... his head shifts a bit. i take that as acknowledgement of my wave and i smile.

so, i guess as i like to say...
patience and love...
