showering chams

Hi guys, I was just wondering when is a good age to start showering your chameleon? How often are these showers given? I've heard these showers do wonders, and I can't wait to start doing it myself. My chameleon is 4 months old.

If veiled then 4 months should be fine

Just put his pot plant in the shower with him on it and make the water luke warm and make it hit the shower wall and then it bounces off the wall onto the plant. Thats what you do if the drops are to big or if the cham is like still small

Some Chameleons freak out at first, my guy loves showers. I put him in there when cage needs a scrub, about every 10 days.

Just watch the temp to make sure you cham doesnt get too hot, and your good to go!

I heard you can't use warm water because of all the stuff in the bottom of your water heater. Do you use cold water or what?

My guy tend to like water a lil on the cooler side. I just make it so the water isn't cold to the touch.

I have a panther... So a little bit warmer should be fine? Is he too young still?
