So his cage needed cleaning. Figured hey, why not clean him too! so i popped him in the shower, put it on nice an warm and he just shut his eyes and soaked it in. He was actually bulging them out and in, cleaning?
Anyways, he doesnt drink much, from mist or dripper, but his urates are white and his eyes are healthy and bulging.. why is this?
Also, waiting on a couple things to finish my chams new adult cage,(posted a thread on it)
Its 5 tall 4 wide 2 deep. he is only 3.25 months old, i really want to get him into it so he can get more variety and natural feeling, but he wont take to cup feeding. Shud i just keep a cup of crix in there and let him hunger strike till he eats it?

Sounds like a really big cage for a little one!!?? Can he even find his food it it?

What size cricks are you feeding?

You generaly dont want to leave them in the cage overnight if they are full grown cricks because they are notorius for nibbling on sleeping chams tails!!
Esp, baby chams

Also, you want to gut load your cricks before using them as feeders.

So, leaving any size crick overnight in the cage, they will loose all their
gut loaded goodness and just be hollow shells ;)

great news, he just ate for the first time from a deli cup. If he can get used to this, the cage will be no problem. So happy. I do gutload with fresh veg and usually the crix i leave overnight that were put in at around 2ish are gone when his lights come on
I also dust with vitamins and d3.
The cage is big but if he can get on this cup feeding he is set
