Show me your feeding dishes!!

Full throttle feeders i would imaging they would jump ot as well but I would stick more to Dubai roaches to put in a feeder because if a cricket gets loose they will bite you chameleon when it is sleeping

I just use a plastic McDonald’s cup to feed my Cham. I do hand feeding AND cup feeding. Both help build trust. I would probably think that it would also work as just a feeder cup if you attached it to a branch or stick. It’s also tall enough to where the crickets can’t jump out. I’ve tested with small crickets, medium, and large crickets. All can’t jump out.

Here’s a picture of the cup I use. I just put some of his calcium at the bottom and let the feeders crawl around in it. It doesn’t get too much on them, either.

Also sorry if my grammar is bad and I explained things badly. My brain is fried from school today and barely getting any sleep 😭. That’s also why I haven’t been active lately.

I also once thought this! But there's some online you can order that are legal... Discords are the only ones, I think.

https://www.ontarioinvertfarm.com/product-page/discoid-roach

https://crawlmart.ca/ - in the feeder section

https://thedragonlair.ca/discoid-roaches-small-15pk/

https://www.thebugfarms.com/store/p51/Discoid-roaches.html

They sell out fairly quickly...
Thanks! Good to know, but all those breeders are on the east coast and I’m on the west end. I can’t afford to pay $20 for 15 small discoid plus shipping!!!
Shipping is approx another $25 😟

I love my Shooting Gallery feeding station. https://tkchameleons.com/products/shooting-gallery?variant=30018608595032 For a couple of my guys, I made my own version of it using plastic food trays from various sources (like frozen dinners or cat food bowl). While some feeder insects can wriggle their way out (bsfl, wax worms) and tiny roach nymphs can sneak if there’s any slack in the screen, for the most part it prevents escapes. When I first started with my first chameleon, I liked this. https://www.amazon.com/MUYG-Chamele...64533&sprefix=Reptile+feeding,aps,150&sr=8-11 It did quite a decent job of preventing escapes. I did modify it a bit by drilling tiny holes in the bottom for water drainage and then removed the suction cup, drilled a small hole there and put a couple of zip ties to attach it to a branch. I’ll still use it on rare occasion for hand feeding some of the insects I prefer not to touch.
