Hi guys I was wondering if I should leave my heat light on at night or I should turn all of my charms lights off at night? My house is probably about 65 degrees at night. all help will be appriciated!

I did leave her lights off for a little bit but in the morning she was always on her basking spot even though the heat light was off, and in the morning i could touch her and she wouldn’t hiss or really move too much.

Also should I upgrade her cage? I’m still using the one from a chameleon kit, but I’m planning on getting her a bigger one soon. Here’s a picture:
(btw I know it’s kinda bare, I’m planning on getting her a bunch more leaves and vines when I build her new cage)

IMO I would upgrade because you will need to keep a laybin in there all the time. The extra space will help with that. The enclosure now def needs some work and the lights need to be change. Female veiled are also notorious plant eaters so I would try to steer clear of fake leaves.

I give her pothos and kale a few times a week so I think using fake leaves are fine for her. Yeah I’m gonna build her a new cage as soon as possible and then I’m gonna put a bunch more leaves and vines and stuff.

Likely your veiled will still try a nibble here and there off her fake plants, even if you provide vegetation for her that is real...

About the regular bulb, just make sure it is not an LED light. Just the regular old-fashioned incandescent.

I HIGHLY suggest getting more leaves/vines/plants in before she lays those eggs. It can be stressful for them if their environment changes then add the stress of laying eggs. She needs to have a comfortable place to be in.
