keep in mind i just got my cham 2 days ago so im still experimenting with cage set up....
i have a 5'x3'x2' screen enclosure with a 150watt ceramic heat emitter (the ones with no light) that stays on all the time. i have 2 full spectrum strip lights (4' each) on each side of the cage and one on top (1') (i think the lady said they were full spectrum or UVB, anyway, they are the right ones he needs, im still a noob at reptiles so bear with me lol)....
anyway, i read they need between like 80 to 90F temperature gradient. my didgital thermometor currently reads 76.4 in his basking spot. i have another heat lamp with a red heat bulb. should i add it? its only 50watts. the red bulb is the one he came with, i had to buy the heat emitter because the red bulb was only keeping the cage at around 62F during the day eeekkk! and because the red bulb had to be turned off at night, and my house gets COLD so i needed something that could be on all the time.
