Hey guys i just got the reptifogger to increase my humidity but it caused the temp to go down about ten degreese towards the bottom of the cage. Should i attach another heat lamp dome on the side of the cage?
Also when i get a bigger cage which will be about 18x18x36 should i also use two heat lamps and would i need to get another uvb bulb for either the top or the side, thanks.

No don't get another heat lamp. The temp diversity is good. What chameleon do you have?

I run 1 uvb and 1 heat light on a 2x2x4 so not sure why you would need 2 of either. If the 1 bulbs you have are working properly they should suffice.

I have a 40watt basking light over my 2x2x4 to get a 85 deg temp at basking spot, and a 25watt in another 2x2x4 to get a 80degree temp at a basking spot.

The temperature should drop to low 70 at the bottom of the enclosure to provide a wide enough temperature range for the cham to be able to cool off if they need to.

Do you have a reptisun bulb and if so what kind is it. Would you be able to give me a link to a website to see what kind of lighting you use (heat lamp, uvb lamp). Thanks for the advice.

reptisun 5.0 t-8 bought off amazon
plain old light bulbs for the basking/heat light its the wattage that matters
