She's Gravid!!!!!!!!!!!!:):)

thanks. My next door neighbours friend has an incubator she may not want. She has hatched ducklings in it. Will it be ok for reptiles

Where do you live? If your house stays in the low 70's you can put eggs in a closet to incubate. It is hard to tell about the incubator if we do not know what kind it is.

I will tell you this! Start saving money over the next 6 months!

I live in britain. I will save money i will need loads lol. They should hatch in may so i a going to ask for money for christmas whish will be for cage and stuff. i will then ask for money for my birthday which is infebruary to cover food and other things. Altogether i should get around £500

Yeah its cool as long as she is receptive and as long as she isn't getting beat up during copulation. There is no guarantee that the first mating resulted in fertilization, so allowing them to do it a few more times gives you more of a chance her eggs will be fertile.

hi mate. I also live in britain and am breeding veileds. Im just wondering if u have worked out how much u are going to spend from now till u sell the babys?

um i really don't know cause it's my first time. I already have an old vivarium so i reckon about £100 on vine plants lighting heating and other stuff. It will probably also cost me about £200 to feed them cause i will start selling them at 5-6 weeks

Bradley- Here is a link you should look at: https://www.chameleonforums.com/cost-raising-69-baby-18467/
And as far as selling babies at 5-6 weeks, so people have done that, but I would not recommend it. This being your first clutch, you are more likely to have problems than is you were experienced. That being said, 3 months is a healthy age to sell at because the animals will be hardier, and any born weak and meant to die, probably would have by that age. Selling babies too young can be risky to your reputation as a seller. The last thing you need is week babies going out to customers, dying, and customers complaining about your product.

he is still mating her and she isnt rejecting is this ok wouldnt she already be pregnant from 4 matings

Yeh I guess. Would be nice not to buy from the idiot we got Tilly from. He now has more chameleons in. Absolutly tiny. I mean seriously they are about 3 weeks old. He's selling them at 3 weeks and doesn't have a clue.

Lie down tank
Few fake plants
Waterfall
Hoppers to big for them to eat

Poor little guys :-(

is this ok as if she will be pregnant from four matings ten i can stop holding them to move them. should i stop because she is showing gravid colours like in the pic when introduced to the male

the parts that were yellow in the pics are now lighter and orangy and she isn't rejecting the male anymore is she pregannat
