Check out this pairing attempt . I separated them after only a few minutes. Pics speak a thousand words. Does anyone have any info on J.Jacksonni breeding such as effects of temperatures or if they are seasonal. Any info would be appreciated, thanks...

Those are T. jacksonii jacksonii. The females of the jacksonii subspecies usually have three horns like the males, although smaller. In xantholophus, the females usually have no horns, and in merumontanus the females usually have a single rostral horn.

if you keep them in seperate cages push them together. if she shows signs of wanting to mate she should come to the cage wall with him. if she doesn't put him in the cage with her but from the other side keep your distance cause if she is like my pandora she knows all she has to do is puff up look at me and his and she knows being my angel i'll protect her and take her out asap. but keep trying not alot but like once every 3-4 days at a time. or if you can put them up on a free range that small cage might make her scared and she won't want anything to do with him.

That was the second try after about 3 weeks from the first. Same result with a different pair also. I was thinking it might be seasonal & possibly try to simulate a seasonal change by temp & lighting changes. If I put the cages nearby, the males screenwalk all day trying to get to the females. Real horndogs but the females won't have them. They are bigger than the males & do not submit.
