Shedding

This is the first time I've seen him shed, he started yesterday and when I got off work it was almost completely gone.
Now there's just little spots of dead skin.

Does that seem normal? I've seen scratching his face and body against the screen of the cage.

That's normal, it generally takes a day (or two) for them to shed, they rub on sticks and the screen to get the skin off.
