It looks like he is i was actually about to ask a question so i'll do it here. Mine started shedding on his toes and is workin its way up. I know they shed around every 3 months or so. I have some questions for the experienced! 1) how long does a shed cycle last? 2) are there anything we can do to asist?

Daughty - He is shedding.

jones5233 - The frequency that a chameleon sheds depends on the age and the species. Juveniles for the most part will shed about every month. Older chams can and will start shedding in sections, and their shedding frequency will slow down as their growth slows. Also, when they are shedding there is nothing you should do to help them along. Sometimes they will get part of a shed in their eyes and you can up your misting and humidity to help them remove the debris but thats about it.

Hope this helps,

Todd
