shedding

i was wondering how often a four month old veiled should shed.My two month old used to shed every two-three weeks.this one i can see is growing steadily and eats/drinks well. The breeder said he had shed just prior to me having him(had him two weeks) so i'm thinking it should be soon or is there a wider span as they get older?

I believe it is common for sheddings to get more and more infrequent. My male who is 3 years, only sheds about every 3 months and is in pieces and parts. My females also shed about every 3 months. As babies they shed every 3-4 weeks. Vieleds do grow fast and shed more often then let's say the panthers do, but like everything, eventually slows down. Sounds like you have a normal vieled.
