Shedding

Hi I wonder if anyone can help me. Iv had my young veiled chameleon a month now and he is shedding for the second timesice iv had him. He has turned a dark brown colour and is usually bright green. I took him out his cage to check him over as I was worried and he slowly turned back to green but when I put him back he went back to brown again. Im sure he didnt go this colour last time. I know dark colours are bad and im very worried. All his temps/humidity/setup are the same as usual. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks

mine did this to (second shed, coincidence) for a couple days. she is now bright green and shedding great. dont worry. just wait. in a few days she should be shedding.

Mine turn dark when they are soaking up the sun or under their basking light. The darker colors help the heat absorb into them better.

Do they feel the cold more when they shed?
