Shedding

Hello all, I've had my cham for about a month and he hasn't shed yet. He's been eating 10-15 crix a day. I was just wondering if he should shed soon because I read that they shed every 2-3 weeks when they are young. I'm getting 3 types of worms and dubais today to start feeding him with so hopefully that will help him grow maybe. Thank you for any info.

It really depends on his age. They will shed every 2-3 weeks, but every chameleon grows at different rates. It could be that he shed right before you purchased him or it could be that he is a little on the slow growing side of the spectrum. Either way, as long as he is hydrated and feeding....no worries. On the off chance that something could be wrong, posting a picture of your chameleon always helps!

Thank you for the info. I'm at school right now so I will get a good picture of him later. He is hydrated and always eats all his food so I'm guessing hes a slow grower like you said.
