Shedding?

Hello, this is probably a dumb question but I'm a new veiled mom and I worry about him all the time  I noticed his feet looked different, like a little cut in the skin, see in picture, is this him shedding? I'm sure it is but I just want to make sure. I've only had him 2-3 weeks, he's never shed his skin with me and I've never seen one shed skin so I'm not sure how it happens. Does it come off in little pieces? Also since I've had him he's constantly that light green except when he's sleeping he's a brighter green, is this normal?

umm, i don't mean to bombard but i clicked on a random question to ask a a question. how do you ask a question like this for people to answer????????????????? (SORRY FOR MY DUMB QUESTION)

I already know this I rescued him from petsmart with mbd he doesn't have it bad, I have taken him to the vet he is on the highest liquid calcium possible, d3 twice a month although I've only had him 2-3 weeks so I've given it to him once so far, multivitamin twice a month only been given it once, I also dust his food with calcium powder, he's in a 4 foot tall screened cage and 4 foot wide, he has a reptisun 10.0 because his screen is so big, his basking spot gets in the low 90's mid cage 80-85 bottom gets around 70-75, humidity stays between 50, 70 during mistings, he has a lot of foliage, live plants, vines, hiding places, basking spot. His poop looks great. I see him drinking and eatting all the time, he's a little piggy lol. I feed him crickets, Dubia roaches and Phoenix worms rotated daily and mealworms, super worms, waxworms, I give him one of each one day a week, I also give him collard greens sometimes, I'm currently looking into adding more to his diet like grasshoppers and silkworms. He won't touch fruits, what other kind of veggies can I give him? I also just bought a 3 foot tall screened cage to take him outside in, I take him outside every other day.

He was extremely weak when I purchased him and I know most people don't believe in buying reptiles from pet stores because they don't take care of them properly but I wanted to rescue him, he/they deserve a great life too and if you can give that to them then I don't see anything wrong with it. He is doing great!! Much much healthier than when I first got him!! He's gained some weight, he's not weak like he was, he's stronger, not as nervous around me, he's so sweet!! I love him so much and I've gotten so attached to him. Believe me he will live a happy healthy life with me, I will do anything I can to make him healthy and happy!! I love any and all animals and reptiles ;)

Now back to my question can anyone tell me if this is shedding? And about his coloring?

Yes, that is shedding. As for his colouration, sounds healthy to me. Those would be his resting colours. However, I've never owned a Veiled so perhaps someone with more Veiled experience can answer about the colouring.

I have a 1 year old veiled and he sheds in pieces and sometimes on his feet it looks like he has little white bracelets on before it comes off, from what I see in the picture it looks normal for shedding :)

Loki is a bit brighter green and has yellow bars but he is also older then your little one, so his color looks fine :)

Thanks for your response, he has actually started shedding a lot since I asked, it's coming off good though ;)

Lol yeah that's kinda what it looked like. Poor little guy is so miserable!! He's stretching, scratching and rubbing against his vines. I wish I could help him. Will a shower help?
