Shedding skin in eye

Hey!
I have a Veiled Cham that seems to have a bit of skin stuck in his eye! He started shedding yesterday morning, and I have been misting often to try to help him out, it's been going really good and it's almost all off. His eye isn't swollen, and it's only been there for about an hour or so... should I use some rephresh eye drops to try to help him out?

thank you so much for the quick reply! I feel so bad for the poor guy! I have only had him for about 4 months, and thought I had done my research before I got him and knew what I was doing... when I first brought him home, I very quickly realised that the pet store, (I know...) had given me the wrong cage, the wrong info... everything.... I am pretty sure that he's healthy and happy now though! (I have three kids, and I was told that Sprinkles would be the 'perfect' pet for my 2 4 year olds, and my year old!!!)

I was even told he was a female... (after watching the guy flip him over and check his underside to tell me this) He has some pretty big foot spurs for a girl
